Congratulations to all students and award recipients who took part in the 20th annual Strait Regional Science Fair held from April 1 to 3, 2019. Special congratulations to the following grand prize award winners:

1st Overall (Best in Fair): Lyza Ells, Grade 11, Dr. John Hugh Gillis Regional High School; Project No Harm, No Foul: Eco-friendly Antifouling

2nd Overall: Annie Bloomfield and Malcolm Cameron, Grade 12, Dr. John Hugh Gillis Regional High  School; ProjectGrey is the Way

Each student will attend the Canada Wide Science Fair scheduled for May 11 to 18, 2019, at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and the Nova Scotia Science Fair Showcase to be held from May 2 to 4, 2019, in Halifax.
