Congratulations to all students and award recipients who took part in the 19th annual Strait Regional Heritage Fair held on Friday, May 3, 2019, at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre. Special congratulations to the following eight award winners who will go on to the Provincial Heritage Fair scheduled for June 6 and 7, 2019, at St. Mary’s University in Halifax.

It's that time of year again for young historians in the Strait Region to attend the Strait Regional Heritage Fair. During the past several months, Grades 4 to 9 students presented their projects at local school fairs. Those students selected to participate in the 19th annual Strait Regional Heritage Fair are now busy putting the final touches to their projects.
Congratulations to the 10 students from Cape Breton Highlands Education Centre/Academy (CBHEC/A), Dr. J.H. Gillis Regional High School (DRJHG) and SAERC who participated in the Nova Scotia Skills Competitions held at various campuses of the Nova Scotia Community College from April 5-12, 2019.
