Strait Regional School Board Celebrates Mi'kmaq History Month 2017

Each October, and throughout the year, school communities focus on the history, culture and achievements of the Mi’kmaq community.  This is also an opportune time for each of us to reflect on our own understanding of the contributions and traditions of the Mi’kmaq community.  The theme of Mi’kmaq History Month 2017 is Innovations and Legacies

Have a Safe, Happy and an Enjoyable Summer!

On behalf of the Strait Regional School Board, we would like to congratulate students in the Strait Region on their successes achieved in classrooms, in gymnasiums, at sports events, on the stage, as well as at regional, provincial, national and international events.

To the graduates of 2017, your high school diploma is a major accomplishment to be celebrated.  We encourage you to continue to promote excellence in lifelong learning and wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours.
